What MyTyrePlug is
MyTyrePlug is a marketplace that connects drivers in Jamaica who need roadside tyre help with independent, verified tyre providers. Providers set their own prices through offers, and customers choose which offer to accept.
Beta software
The apps are in beta. Features may change, and there may be bugs or interruptions. Coverage is limited to the areas shown in the app, and we can’t promise a provider will be available at any given time.
Accounts
You need a phone number to sign in. Keep your account to yourself and give accurate information. Providers must complete verification before making offers.
Prices and payment
- All prices are in Jamaican dollars (JMD).
- The customer pays the accepted price plus any optional tip, by card in the app or in cash to the provider.
- Providers pay a commission, currently 10% of the job price, from a prepaid wallet. The current rates and fees are shown in the provider app before they apply.
- Cancellation fees may apply in some situations. The app shows any fee before you confirm.
Conduct and safety
Treat each other with respect. Don’t misuse the apps, share false information or ask to move payment outside the app to avoid fees. In an emergency, call 119.
Ratings and suspensions
Customers and providers rate each other after each job. Accounts with repeated problems may be limited or paused.
